I was worried we might crash down to earth with a bang. Bit of a patched up team but a great 3 points. And a couple of weeks to get our injured players back for the final push.

Considering we've had 10 games in 5 weeks (2 of which were against PL opposition), 2 weeks without a game has come at just the right time, IMO.

Match day 1 at home to Scunthorpe shows that there are no ' it's only's ' even more so at this stage of the season.

If results had not gone our way on Saturday we could have been going into the international break 9 points off the playoffs and in 12th place, season over.

As we stand now we have great momentum to push on to the end of the season and hopefully get half our team off the treatment table.

In context, without doubt the result of the season so far, let's hope for many more in the next 12 games.

Just great to still have that buzz of expectation for the rest of the season. So many games now where we will be challenging for the playoffs as well as possibly sending sides down. It may not be a happy Easter for the Blades!

At Leicester though, people I was with will tell you that I was doing absolutely everything in my uninfluential power to get us a result. Remember we started with a defence of Gunnarsson RB, Mills CB, PearceCB and Cummings LB. We finished up with McAnuff RB, a half fit Mills CB, Pearce CB and Cummings LB. We had absolutely no cover defensively on the bench, and we ended up losing Gunnarsson at half time. In contrast the Barnsley game we had Pearce on the bench. And don't forget that Leicester City are a significantly better team than Barnsley.

All true apart from the Leicester bit. I thought they were virtually bottom when they played us.

They had a fairly shoddy start under Sousa, but they obviously aren't bad players to play against. We were on the ropes for periods there. Not once were we under any real pressure against Barnsley.
