McAnuff has more assists and I think he has been involved in the build up for more goals. Kebe is a fantastic winger and yes he's scored more goals certainly. But I just think that McAnuff is more important to us and is the better all round player. When he isn't creating chances I still think he contributes a lot, whereas when Kebe has a bad game and isn't beating people and putting good balls in, he's a bit of a waste of a player.

Kebe will beat people more often and I agree is a great entertainer. But he's definitely an individual and I see McAnuff as more crucial to the Team.

I think that's an extremely generous bambionicelegsography for McAnuff. I'm not sure he rates more than a 1.

This. McAnuff will always put in a shift, even if things aren't coming off for him.

And McAnuff is a much more intelligent player, definitely 3 dimensional. Kebe doesn't seem to have much of a footballing brain, in that he'll always do the same thing whatever the situation, and the things he does are limited (although he usually does them well.)

Jimmy is an instinctive player I would say Dirk, and when instinct isn't quite getting it right or he's not quite got his eye / touch in he doesn't have the nouce to really switch up what he's doing. That doesn't mean Kebe isn't a very important player for us and an excellent performer Brendy... I'd put him right behind the three I listed as more important. Which ain't bad with a squad of 30 odd players.

McAnuff seems to be a player who knows what he's doing and choses to do it conciously.

Whilst we're talking about wingers I think HRK's problem is that he waits for the defender to commit themselves, rather than trying to force them to commit. And when he does try to get past he seems to telegraph it a little so he never seems to quite get enough space to put a good ball in, hence when a lot of the crosses I see him try are blocked, or he's tackled.

When he turns up. He goes missing far too often for too long a period. He had a great run last season, one or two good games this season but has pretty much been anonymous. There is no excuse for a player of his ability not turning in quality performances week in week out; that's what separates the top players from the rest.

If he did these "quality performances week in week out" then there is no way he would still be a Reading Player

Kebe is far more legendary but McAnuff would be on the teamsheet before him every time for me.

The amount of balls McAnuff has slipped through defences for Long to run behind them for and usually scored or won a freekick/pen is impressive and McAnuff get plenty of assists.

The crosses he whipped in for Long's second against Derby and Hunts goal against Palace are better than any cross Kebe has ever put in.

Both have actually been pretty poor this season, they no longer score and they rarely get assists.

im sorry- but if howard is our leading assister, and hes only played ~ 3 and a half games, i dont see how you can say jobi gets tons of assists.

As you can imagine a huge amount of my friends and workmates are City fans and they rate Jimmy Kebe as our best player! :?

He has turned in some good performances against them so it is probably quite a misguided opinion.

Not much difference between the 2 towns/City's in fairness. Yes there is a huge Asian population here which on the whole everybody embraces. Because of that large population I think it pulls all the communities together rather than being segregated more in smaller populations.

In my work role I have responsibility for a team of people, 80% of which are either Indian or Pakistani. They are no less or no more hard workers than anyone else.

Before moving to Leicester I was a little naive with regard to different cultures, I have had to learn to adapt and I'm so glad I did.
