brendywendy appoint you RFC race relations tsar

Bit late on the thread but felt the need to defend Leicester a little! If the truth were known I like living in Leicester but would move back to Reading if I didn't have a young family and probably need to win the lottery.

Reading is just where my heart is.

Mike Hunt
pea
brendywendy
im sorry- but if howard is our leading assister, and hes only played ~ 3 and a half games, i dont see how you can say jobi gets tons of assists.

err i didnt

I know that Plenty does not = tons pea, but you are implying that he has gotten a lot of assists...
plen·ty (plnt)
n.
1. A full or completely adequate amount or supply

Sorry to be pedantic but I see a significant difference between the two. Tons implies they have got an excessive amount not an adequate amount.

Hunt has got plenty of goals this season, Long has got tons.

its not pedantry to argue at the distinction between loads, plenty and tons. its madness

& it depends how much a goal weighs

If Long scores and there's no one there to see it, does he make a sound?

leicsRoyal As you can imagine a huge amount of my friends and workmates are City fans and they rate Jimmy Kebe as our best player! :?

He has turned in some good performances against them so it is probably quite a misguided opinion.

Not much difference between the 2 towns/City's in fairness. Yes there is a huge Asian population here which on the whole everybody embraces. Because of that large population I think it pulls all the communities together rather than being segregated more in smaller populations.

In my work role I have responsibility for a team of people, 80% of which are either Indian or Pakistani. They are no less or no more hard workers than anyone else.

Before moving to Leicester I was a little naive with regard to different cultures, I have had to learn to adapt and I'm so glad I did.

Living in Leicester makes you a better person in general. Fact.

I utterly love it here, but were homesick like a dog, so it'll be southbound again soon.

Big up the LE2 massive!!! (which is me and Archies Peno btw)

Living in LE2 hasn't made me a better person.

Depends where in LE2 I suppose as Evington is a shitehole.

Leicester>Reading

I loved living in Leicester, even though I lived in the scary part, had a nicer feel to it than Reading. Nearly stayed after I finished Uni

Lovely. It's refreshing to see super tenants being drunk at 8.30am. Why the hell didn't I stay in Clarendon.

Only downside to Leicester is it's a trek to get to the coast whichever direction you head in!

Love it in LE3. :)

Evington? It's a few years back, so maybe the memory is playing tricks, but that was practically suburbia compared to the delights of our student house in Highfields. Happy days!

Kebe's going nowhere.. his reaction at Forest, shirt off when celebarting his goal was enough to convince me he is staying.

I honestly feel that was more of a personal thing than a team one. He was clearly getting very angry at himself and also at the players having a go at him for not passing the ball, so it seemed like a huge release to actually put one away. I'm not sure he's as much of a team player as the rest...

BUT I LOVE HIM

Why would Kebe drop down a division to play for Leicester next season?
