So presumably Kebe is second and Karacan has nicked third.

As Leigertwood is on loan he probably didn't qualify for the vote....

He definitely qualified, fortunately many have adopted the principled stance of not voting for him. A win for Ledge would have been nearly, but not quite, as embarassing as Ipswich's POTS

What a load of old nonsense. Steve Death won player of the year in 1970/71 and he was on loan from West Ham

I didn't vote.

I would have voted for Jem Karacan though.

Given he's played fewer than half our games, I think it would be ridiculous if he was in the top three given how good Long, Kebe, Karacan, McAnuff & Harte have been over the course of the whole season.

Boyle the Royal Says on the OS that the top three are:

Jem Karacan
Jimmy Kebe
Shane Long

Surprised that Leigertwood hasn't even made the top 3

No Ian Harte who was our only player in the divisional team of the year? Good one Reading mongs.

When did Shane Long last score a goal anyway. Shambles.

Yeah, Shane Long has done fuck all for this team. We'd have been better off with Church up front.

No goal in four, but 19 in 23 before that. It's a poor bit of fishing, let it go.

Actually no goal in four but 21 in 40 before that, but only with 6 penalties => only 15 in 40 which is okay but not world-beating.

My Ian Harte point stands.
