Just an update.

17,700 have already been sold for Friday's home leg, and 1,100 for the away leg.

Cardiff seem a little slow on the uptake there.
Away ticket purchased this afternoon and home tickets a booked. Now roll on Friiiiiiday.

Interestingly the club have now opened sales up to mulitple tickets per member (4 extras) which would suggest they're a little worried about being able to sell this out now.

Seems the worries about time to sell tickets if they had a 'loyal fans only' period are a little unjustified. Also a little surprised that after locking it down to no new members that they're now happy to sell multiples to anyone with a card. I can't see this meaning a raft of Soul Crew wannabee's infiltrating the home end but it does seem a little counter intuitive (unless the non-member policy was to protect our loyal fans from missing out and not a safety driven concern).

I hope this sells out by the end of the week as it'd be a bit of a blow to those at the club if such a big game wasn't a lock out.

Opening it up to people buying more than ticket on a member card means you kind of have to know a Reading fan to get a ticket, which most people who want to go would do, but presumably most hardcore Cardiff fans wouldn't.
Preventing people from buying more than one before now made sure that people who have been in the past could get a ticket if they wanted.

No new members can buy a ticket, so that prevents Cardiff fans getting in unless a handful know Reading fans who aren't going.

Anybody else having problems getting to the online ticketing login page.... I just get a blank page with Firefox and IE. I wanted to check if there were tickets left near my seat that I could get for some casual Reading supporters I know.

Im on Firefox and its fine. Try both ways to get to it i.e. the text at the top of the page or the side Log In button. Hope that makes sense
