RobRoyal I know nothing at all about this player, but I will be furious if the club miss out on signing him.

With all due respect, why are Icelandic names so odd?

Why don't they just use normal names like Peter, Tom, David etc?

I think we need to take this up with the EU.

Stokie replied to my PM - top man...
Hi, well he signed for Icelandic club KR Reykjavik couple of months back. However, after being only a substitute in the opening games in the league he wrote on Twitter. "All young promising players should stay away from KR. Its a bad club."

Needles to stay that didnt go down too well at KR. So he was sold last week to his boyhood club Valur for 1 million Icelandic Krona which is a lot for a player in Iceland. He made his debut for them last night and set up the winning goal.

Recent developments have made me feel him being somewhat of a bad apple. A great talent though but does not seem to intelligent.

Being a follower of his former club KR I can only say I'm happy to be rid of him from there and agree with Stokie's "bad apple" characterization, so would not have wanted him at Reading either. Moaning on Twitter like that was a classic case of what y'all so often say on here about players "throwing the toys out of the pram" when unhappy. He even deleted the tweet after an hour like a wuss, at least stand by what you're trying to say IMO.
