As an aside, when I went to the Northampton-Swansea P/O final, GSTQ was played with the words on the screen, as was Land of My Fathers, with the words on the screen.

Seemed a perfectly adequate arrangement.

Absolutely zero interest in this as something to be outraged about.

Doubt they'll bother singing it in the royal box even if it was played.

Now let me see: When it comes to government funding the Welsh are fully self funding or happy to take money off some of the other countries in the United Kingdom?

And just how much of the BBC's money is frittered away ensuring everything is replicated in Welsh?

And yet we won't have the national anthem of the United Kingdom for fear of upsetting the Welsh?

If they're that keen to be Welsh and independent of everyone else they should sod off and play somewhere else!

Is this a football match or a nationalist/political rally?

HELLO! *waves*

I'm an atheist, too, so zero interest in singing the most dirgeful and meaningless anthem in the world. Why can't we have something fun like the Marseillaise? We get a bedtime prayer, the French are all swearing eternal brootherhood and to keep fighting until they're drowing in Royalist blood.
