Ball passed where he should have run to - but he hadn't. Just another occasion where we gave the ball away stupidly.

I think he slipped as he tried to get to where he should be - he slipped over quite a few times once it was raining.

Unlucky guys. I thought it was a good match with the game of football the winner.

And Swansea I guess :|

Ian Royal Thanks for that... I actually agree on Legs, certainly by midway through the second half he seemed to be showing why he'd earned the nickname "Legs of Wood" elsewhere. Too many of his passes were poor today and too many times he either didn't win the ball when I'd expect him too, or dwelt on it too much when he did.

Still, only a poor performance from him by his own very high standards and he's looked a little out of sorts since he came back from injury / knew he'd got a contract.

I think not being able to turn in that shot off the post stole away our belief. At around that time I think Karacan picked up a knock which combined with Legs tiring sapped our energy. Maybe we were saving up for a big last ten minutes.

Which is what I thought - you can't keep up the level of pressure we had going in the first 15 of the second half indefinitely, so a surge in the last ten was a real possibility - until that awful challenge by Grifin!

If necessary, though if we got the third we'd have fancied our chances at a fourth in quick succession, like with the first and second.

Do you really think Swansea would have found it easy to pick themselves up for another 30 minutes of Reading pushing all out for a winner after being 3-0 up at HT?
