PURE SPECULATION - Nathan Tyson

by tomrfcurz » 31 May 2011 16:15

With his dad now his agent he has rejected a new contract from Nottingham Forest - apparently 'a host' of Championship clubs are after him and the front runners are supposedly Millwall (i'm guessing they're resigned to losing Morison) but with Shane Long now pretty much out of the door could Tyson return? I couldn't help but think in the games against Swansea in the play-offs that he's another one who i think could still do a job for us and with no huge transfer fee obviously involved he'd fit perfectly for Mr Mad!

Well, Tyson was more of a winger for Forest than a front man (and let's face it, Forest have about a billion strikers.)

My mate who's a Forest fan says that Tyson has turned into quite an honest winger, doesn't go down easily and doesn't have 'legs of glass'.

Could be worth a punt, but I doubt it will happen due to wages. They pay pretty well at Forest.

1TeamInBerksRFC Tyson coming back to Reading i think not, reading could not afford his wages

yes they could

Anyway, as people know, i know Nathan and his family. He would love to come back to Reading (all his mates and family live here) but i dont think we would sign him. Millwall is probably where he'll end up

Always liked Tyson, I reckon he could do well at Brighton or Southampton, rather than Millwall.

Couple of Forest fans I know seem certain he's heading to Derby. Describing him as pace and nothing else and at 29(!!!) that's probably going to desert him soon. A no from me anyway.

likeable lad but as you say, at 29 his most effective attribution will be lost soon and he's also injury prone.
