Snowball
Ian Royal People have gone into a fair bit of detail using examples of why McAnuff is "extra good". They just haven't used numbers collated from any official source to justify it.

They haven't. They've just said, "He's extra good." Just not in terms of goals or assists... just "something ethereal".

That's because they're entertained by him. Proffessional football is, after all, entertainment for the masses. Which is why they think McAnuff is a good player, he's entertaining. Also his corners (or the 30% that pass the first man) can cause mayhem :D
I like him personally.

McAnuff's very good at keeping the ball. He'll take on defenders, can go inside or outside, cross, pass or shoot, drifts into the middle etc etc, but he also plays it simple and back when there isn't a lot on so we keep the ball. He gets back and defends very well helping out his fullback often. He's also very good at retaining the ball when a defender gets a bit physical with him or gets a half foot in on the ball. He'll stumble around a bit but usually still come away with it. He usually makes good decisions, even if what he's doing doesn't always come off. His corner delivery is high quality.

There, even though I've said most, if not all of it, before. That's not just "he's extra good", that's (fairly simple) analysis of his play from watching games. There's no OS numbers for stats, or crosses or shots or goals. But it tells you he is a good player.

Everything is relative. They are good players, others are very good, some are excellent, and one may be brilliant

Wrong. Even Antonio, the least polished of the three, has his uses.

Williams  .....Howard is a good player but he just doesnt ft in with Readings style of play ..Antonio is still raw so early to judge but agree that Church flatters to deceive ...someone sees something in him though Or he's got compromising pics of chairman :D

I'd put Antonio over Howard. His long throw can cause mayhem. But they're all still ****

Howard's a really good player at our level. Doesn't really fit our style though.

I think it's pretty likely it would be announced on the OS if our "biggest stars" had signed new deals.
