Who'd have thought that professionals in the game know more about the qualities that make a good PL player than the "experts" on this site. I mean a professional scout or Ian Royal who's advice would you take?

maybe not but they have just lost faye to west ham on a free, so they're recruiting.

We just 'lost' Ingimarsson on a free. Are we recruiting?

I know for a fact (100% not the 95% job!) that hes recently purchased a place in Richmond with his fiancee so that she can concentrate on her media career, and whilst I can possibly see him "commuting" to Wolves, not sure the Stoke journey will float his boat..... so its Wolves or he's staying imo

not forgetting kish as well, so I would hope so, but don't bank on it.

We've already signed a replacement for 1 of those. I'd be happy with 3 'senior' centre backs, 2 or 3 others that can fill in there, plus our youth players.

Mills will go in the summer too many clubs are interested, Stoke the lastest to join the queue.

Let the price war between them begin and look to take £4m.

Good man!

MATT MILLS is set to snub Wolves, Stoke, Blackburn and Swansea and sign a new contract with Reading.

Not the most in depth article I've ever read:

Mills, 24, said: "You are always going to get speculation."

Let's hope this is the case........

tbh, they're guessing, but I expect that they'll be right and Mills will stay. I'm not sure whether any of the clubs linked with him will actually make a proper bid for him though.

Can't believe this, thought he would be a dead cert to move on especially after what he said earlier in season about moving on should we not get promoted, how things change not really complaining though as i think he is actually needed to try and push for promotion, him and pearce may turn out pretty well (although worried about the pace)

Think him staying here would be a good move for him. He seems as if he is becoming far more consistent and confident at the bag and not quite as hot headed as he once was. He is captain of a club with good and genuine promotion prospects. Unlike Strikers like Long, CBs usually have longer careers at the top and so he probably will have a greater chance of getting into the premiership later on if all else fails. Think next year he can step it up if appointed official club and captain, and not the match day jobby captain we saw last year.

Seems as if right now the championship is the best level for him to be consistent and develop instead of risking being laid to waste on a subs bench half a season with teams like wolves who do have a high chance of coming back down anyway

As mentioned above, geography is important for Emma's career - he's probably holding out for a London club to get involved (if they ever do).
