Sarah Star Surely, if this is at the owner's discretion, all he has to do is recall his loans and walk away leaving the club and the fans to pick up the pieces.

urz13 If you hadn't noticed, 10 goals is higher than some teams top scorers. AND he was out/didn't play half of the season, and you call him average?

Sarah Star I just think if you're going to put punishments into the rules governing what clubs can spend, then you'd do better punishing the owners than the clubs. They're the ones who make the decisions, decide on the ethos of the club, how it's run etc etc... not that turkeys are ever going to vote for Christmas if they have a say in it.

The problem with the asset strippers is that they're long gone before the damage they've done often becomes apparent. So all you have left to punish is the club.

It's a matter of opinion. Personally I think that's a pretty average return, especially when he doesn't offer much else.

no, the avereageness of a strikers goal scoring record is a matter of cold hard facts.
hunt is above average for this league, let alone across proffessional football. therefore he is better than average.

brendywendy not hen specifically talking about the goal scoring record of a striker as being average.
his scoring frequency at this level, and the average goal scorers freuncy are both cold hard facts, regardless

Ian Royal Noel Hunt has an excellent scoring record. However he is not particularly outstanding apart from that.
Are you both happy with that Brenders, winch?

I have a slight issue with 'excellent', for me, if Hunt played every single game next year and only scored 15 I wouldn't call that excellent.
But yes, that's probably a fair statement.

But surely youd at least call it 'very good'?
