It's the same for almost every football club. It's the summer, the transfer window is open, papers need to fill pages. We're all expecting Longy and maybe Kebe to go, if that happens then fair enough. Mills would be a disappointment, but I don't see a que of players wanting to join them.

TBH he'd be no worse probably than some of the names (Laws/Keane!) talked about working alongside Graham Taylor for example.

I don't think we'll take Gibbs off you..probably cost too much in compensation and legends never seem to do well when returning to their former clubs.

To be fair though, it has been a springboard to better job offers for the last couple of managers hasn't it? So someone coming in may see it as a stepping stone to something better. Not a great thought if you are a Watford fan though.

I think Watford could do a lot worse than Nigel Gibbs tbh.
