Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey is ready to pull the plug on major deals if they are not closed soon.
Efforts to bring defensive targets Roger Johnson and Matt Mills to Molineux have hit deadlock, with both Birmingham and Reading unwilling to drop their demands into line with what Wolves are prepared to pay.
Yesterday, chairman Steve Morgan warned clubs must ‘get real’ over their demands.
And Moxey has now revealed Wolves have sounded out other clubs so they can still strengthen their defence if they miss out on the pair.
Moxey said: “We have got feelers out to a number of clubs. So we either start getting serious now or we move on.
“We are now telling clubs to make a decision. We need to get things done and what we’re saying is ‘if you don’t want to do business, we’ll forget it and move on.’
Sound like Bugs won round 1....but can he win the fight ???.....
