Karacan is replaceable. Anything upwards of £2m would be rightly considered.

In a sense most players are replaceable, but I'd prefer to keep Jem, he had a solid season for us last year and works much harder than most!

Latest from NSC:

Just got a text from a mate in Bracknell saying a Reading fan he works with told him we're after him this morning. I know its nothing concrete and the whole thing could turn out to be bullshit but no smoke without fire.
As for the Reading rivalry i can't put into words how much i hate that shitty little tinpot club.
I hate their plastic fans, Amazing how their average away attendance was 900 last season but they sold out Wembley. I hate their shitty dog bowl stadium in the middle of nowhere & never full, I hate that smug cock Madjeski & his ginger haired leather faced hag missus. I hate their players, Their shitty kit, Waitrose for sponsoring them. Their manager who looks like a meekon from Dan Dare. I laughed so much when they didn't go up & i can't wait to play them this season.

Well I lol'd........

Indeed. Plenty of players available who can 'run around a bit'.

That's fair, but if selling him means can afford to bring in 2 or 3 new players in position that we need more cover, then I could understand the reasoning behind it.

Haven't seen them complaining about their new "Shitty dogbowl Stadium in the middle of nowhere". You know lads the one you campaigned for years to get the one that "will save our club, Geezer"

True, but in all honesty I think we'll need to sell someone of Longs value before anyone can be brought in, considering Mcdermott was told he could spend none of the £5m for Mills.

All they have said is that McD won't be getting any of the Mills money, this doesn't he can't bring anyone in as he would already have been given his budget for this summer. So all they are saying is that budget won't be increased.

Call my cynical but I think this is a PR ruse.
On the day that Mills is due to leave the club announces that one of our better players (Jobi) has signed a new contract.
On the day after, this story is put about to create the normal panic amongst our fans only to be told a few days later that we have kept him despite much interest from other clubs and it is a stement of our ambitious club to......you know the rest.
Alternatively we are doing the direct opposite of Sunderland and Leicester and are selling all of our players.

But he's been made in the "Reading mould".

At last a sensible statement amidst the usual bullshit on here. I could not agree more.

I've been told Karacan was present at training today so he's certainly not in Brighton talking to anyone yet.

We shouldn't forget that Brighton is a 'massive club' - according to their 6,000 or so fans - and promising players like Jem are just gagging to play for them.
