P'boro? Are you sure?

Palace, P'Boro and Barnsley. I'd throw Millwall, Cardiff and Pompey as possible relegation mixers as well.

I don't see us getting relegated but equally I don't see us having any chance of top 6 unless we bring in a quality CB and replace Long if he goes.

I appreciate we are seeking to be a "well run" club but it does make you wonder if the Chairman is happier at this level and really does not want us promoted.

I reckon Doncaster, Watford and Bristol City will be down there too.

No Fixed Abode What's the issue if he's only going to come in on loan?

That would be a tad difficult as he is not under contract.

We have to give him a permanent deal if we want him.

Well it's not going happen then as Reading are only going to bring in a loan defender.

If thats what we have then we could be screwed if we get a lot of injuries.

Looks like he's factored that into account with Kebe, HRK, Antonio, McCarthy & Cummings all out.

Feds is better then McCarthy. I predict Kebe to go to a premiership club. Kanu and Antonio=Rubbish Obita much better.
Cummings is too young and it will be Griffin at the back

i don't know where to begin with this post. mccarthy commands his area far better than federici does, and at a younger age already has shown that he can comfortably make that position his own. is he better than federici, yes i think he is, but that's open to debate. one thing is for sure, federici is not a premiership keeper but mccarthy one day will be. you predict kebe will go to a premiership club? perhaps, although his heart is back in france and that is more likely to be his next destination. kanu? who's kanu? his surname is robson-kanu, and quite how you can say he is rubbish is baffling. he showed at the end of last season what a jey player he can be. he's improving all the time and his signing of a new contract is a great capture for reading. obita i do agree is going to be a very good player. i expect we'll see a lot of him this season, and most likely at the expense of antonio. cummings is too young? what a nonsense that is!

I read somewhere, might've been Fordham, theres been zero interest in Kebe. Which i think is odd. But if he was going to go, i 'd have thought there'd be interest by now.

roadrunner I know some have said Jack Mills is too young at 18 but he's good enough to be recognised by his country

Are you aware of how clueless Noel Blake keeps showing himself to be?

If Mills or MacDonald play next season I will panic. Would rather have Hector.

I was more thinking about defense. 2 young defenders and no cover. I am sure we will score goals, but we will concede loads with those 2 at the back, even more so when we are forced to play someone out of position at the back

I was thinking that myself yesterday.
Physically Jimmy is a bit of a freak so to an outsider he wouldn't be the first person that you would pick as a winger.
We know how good he can be,as do other Championship managers, but I rather feel that he is not on the radar of Premiership clubs.
I would like him to stay as I feel that he and Jobi are an integral part of how we play and I have no great confidence in HRK ,feel that Antonio just hasn't got it and I haven't seen Obita play.
Interesting (especially as they already have Dyer and Sinclair)that Swansea went for Routledge who is on a par with Jimmy IMHO and that nobody else appears interested, not even Wolves or West Brom.

luckily kebe is too inconsistant, and prem scouts dont generally turn up for enough games.
i think he'll stay.
theres just too many games where youd watch and not see enough from him.

that said, he is of course god, and should onlyu go to barcelona

The question isn't whether he'll stay, its whether he signs a new contact.

think hes been quite outspoken for jimmy about wanting to go to france after this contract.
but i guess we could get him to shift that to "finish my career in france" if we go up this year
