Former American college player Craig Sutherland is the mystery trialist who scored in Tuesday's closed door match against Queen's Park. The 22-year-old Scot is set to play in Saturday's friendly at Ayr United. Sutherland has been in America for the last few years on a football scholarship, playing for Midwestern State University and North Carolina State University. He seems to have done well over there, scoring a fair number of goals and winning a few awards. The Edinburgh-born forward scored a fine goal in Tuesday's game and could earn himself a contract if he continues that form in the next few weeks. He's also a former member of the Scottish schools 4x100 metres relay team - so he must be fast!
