They were asking for something stupid like £8m. He isn't worth half that yet.

He's too good for BC though.

And they are rubbish WITH him, so gawd knows how poor they will be without him.

Where is Gary Alexander when Brizzle need him?

I see that Andy Keogh played for Leeds last night after they nabbed him on loan until January.

He isn't the most prolific but I do think he could've been a good addition to our current options now Long has left.

If we were looking for a striker, 'greed.

There's only enough money in the pot for a defender, and that's if one comes available at the right price apparently. Hunt needs an injury free season!

Isaac Hunt A total guess on my part here, but following the behind closed doors friendly yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me if we took someone on loan from QPR.

Leon Clarke might be available. Hasn't fulfilled his potential from when he first emerged at Wolves. On his day at Sheff Weds (admittedly about half a dozen games) he looked impressive. Big, strong with a good turn of pace.

So he is available, but Sky Sports only mentioning Swindon...... as previously stated this is me just guessing but it still wouldn't surprise me if he ended up here.... a little bit like the Harte transfer this time last year (a surprise), it would be a very Reading style move. Didn't he score 2 of QPR's 3 in that behind closed doors friendly?

Simon's Church Someone suggester Benik Afobe in another thread. That would be amazing if we could get him on loan and convince him he wont be able to get into Arsenal's team.

Only about 18 but looked absolutely class at Hudd last season. Maybe even just get him on loan and continue to develop Manset and whoever else.
