Seem to remember we got Doobs a few years back from Stoke where he was Captain for 800k,a very similar age to Robinson when we bought him and with top flight experience. Obviously transfer fees have risen since then but Robinson has yet to be involved in top flight footie so i think its a million top whack, although him being contracted until 2013 does put Millwall in a strong position.

We were Premiership and it was a step up for him. It's a sideways at best move for Robinson if he comes here. I'd stay at Millwall.

Griffin had a big fall out with the manager and what's his face, ex Pompey striker, fat arse... and was on his way out anyway.

They bid 700k which we turned down. But we have been in talks with Reading for a few days, so i'd imagine it's a lot further down the line than just a cheeky bid of 700k.

Expect him to be gone before the close of the window.

I reckon we could offer a Mills style £1m up front with the promise of a further £500k on promotion, which they'll never get.

Hopefully we'll stop arsing around and just offer them £1m or whatever they need. Since Mills left we've lacked a leader at the back, which has clearly showed in the 2 home games. Pearce is about as mobile as an oil tanker and the African is absolutely hopeless, especially weak in the air. Have you seen the replay of Barnsley's first goal!! Snowball will confirm how many headed goals we've conceeded so far.

Kenny Jackett doesn't want to sell, but as we know, everyone has their price.

Totally disagree. Pearce was excellent when he played last season and has not really put a foot wrong this season. Khumalo has been at fault for most of the goals.

The only real blot was the second goal on Saturday but that was a complete failure to communicate between the whole back 4. Khumalo was nowhere to be seen and the attacker went straight between Harte and Pearce. That is the problem at the moment - the lack of pace.

Pearce simply needs an experienced player alongside him.

Here for the KEBE
Ian Royal 20 a season strikers are marvelous, but to have two different ones in two seasons is a big achievement. We don't need a 20 a season man, if the team can contribute with a few on or around double figures and a couple to get 14+.

That'd do it, rather than one person on 20+ and no one else above 12.

I agree but tell us where you think those other goals are gonna come from? Harte's position now looks in threat. As much as I'm a fan of McAnuff, he ent gonna score many. Kebe can only score on the break, Hunt is distinctively average. You're relying on The Beast in my opinion to get the goals and he still needs work on, long term he's the answer but we need someone to actually bang a few in. What was the issue with trying for Charlie Austin (when the club knew Long would likely leave) back in Jan, or Le Fondre who is banging them in? Robson-Kanu clearly showed that he was more effective on the wing as he is very good at setting up play.

Well, Ian Royal was pretty certain at the start of the season that Noel Hunt would get 15.
