holsgrove breaks a leg Seem to remember we got Doobs a few years back from Stoke where he was Captain for 800k,a very similar age to Robinson when we bought him and with top flight experience. Obviously transfer fees have risen since then but Robinson has yet to be involved in top flight footie so i think its a million top whack, although him being contracted until 2013 does put Millwall in a strong position.

They bid 700k which we turned down. But we have been in talks with Reading for a few days, so i'd imagine it's a lot further down the line than just a cheeky bid of 700k.
Expect him to be gone before the close of the window.
I reckon we could offer a Mills style £1m up front with the promise of a further £500k on promotion, which they'll never get.

Here for the KEBEIan Royal 20 a season strikers are marvelous, but to have two different ones in two seasons is a big achievement. We don't need a 20 a season man, if the team can contribute with a few on or around double figures and a couple to get 14+.
That'd do it, rather than one person on 20+ and no one else above 12.
I agree but tell us where you think those other goals are gonna come from? Harte's position now looks in threat. As much as I'm a fan of McAnuff, he ent gonna score many. Kebe can only score on the break, Hunt is distinctively average. You're relying on The Beast in my opinion to get the goals and he still needs work on, long term he's the answer but we need someone to actually bang a few in. What was the issue with trying for Charlie Austin (when the club knew Long would likely leave) back in Jan, or Le Fondre who is banging them in? Robson-Kanu clearly showed that he was more effective on the wing as he is very good at setting up play.
