West Ham are expected to bid for MK Dons' £1.5million-rated striker Sam Baldock this week.

Manager Sam Allardyce watched the 22-year-old score a hat-trick in the League One side's 6-2 in over Chesterfield on Saturday.

Allardyce is keen bolster his forward line and also plans to discuss a £2m deal for Nice striker Eric Mouloungui, 27.

Now that we have signed the "promising younger player" (Mills) and as we will have to sign a centre back (presumably the experienced player) there is zero chance that we will now sign a striker so don't get your hopes up.

However, Baldock looks really good to me and could well be a great investment for whoever does buy him.
