They aren't going to do that because then they'll sell far far fewer shirts. I'd like to see them go back to alternating bringing out a new home and away kit each season. And there should definitely be a proper hooped shirt every 5 years minimum.

I'm sure there are plenty of people like me who would like to get a new shirt, but aren't going to get one unless it's a goodie with proper hoops. Or at least front and back with a side panel. Even a back panel isn't too bad if there's some hoopage going on. It's the plain back and the mostly plain back with a bit of different colour at the bottom I dislike.

Don't we have to use the standard Football League numbering and lettering? (Like the black and gold)

I think the Football League have a particular font/style but the club can choose the colour.

Yeh looks like the gold border thing and the typeface is universal.

Sheff Wednesday were on tv last night with stripes on the whole of the back of their shirts and dark numbers (almost impossible to read on the tv). Nothing ever seems to happen to the clubs that 'ignore' the supposed league rules.

I'm pretty convinced that the plain panel on our shirts is down to the club and that we could go with hoops all the way round if they wanted to. What a shame they won't respond to supporters' wishes.

They responded to supporters wishes, just a different type of supporter who appear to outnumber or are at least louder than those who want hoops.

The club will only listen if nobody buys shirts and we know that will not happen.

I think you're technically referring to the apathetic.

There isn't any league rules on it. It's a clubs choice.

When I first went to watch games in 1999 I struggled to identify who was who as I couldn't see names or numbers on the hoops. However, after a few games it was really quite easy to work out who was who. So I think we should go gor hoops. Having said that I think RFC have had solid blue at one time and even stripes in the past so can't see it as too much of a tradition issue...

You mean that when we've asked for hoops before and been told it couldn't happen because of league rules, we weren't being told the truth?!

Now we have closed the survey we know that 2/3rds of those replying agreed strongly with blue and white hoops, white shorts and white socks and less than 10% disagreed slightly or strongly.

So once we have analysed the results we will be able to tell the club with more certainty what supporters want.
