moonwalklikebas Come on lets have some optimism. You would think we are relegated playing for nothing if you think we are going to lose 2-0.
Saturday wasnt a bad a performance. We lacked that creative spark in midfield, that was all. Back four were solid especially cummings and Church and ALF worked well. If only we had an attacking creative midfielder......hmmmmm

tomorrow night

Brizzle 1-3 Reading

THINK POSITIVE!

I would rather people were realistic on this thread rather than hopeful. 1-1 would be nice in Wurzal country.

Yup, you're right - let's be realistic. City not won at home this season, goals for 1 goals against 5. We have 4 points from 4 away games, goals for 3 goals against 3.

Being realistic I say a 1-0 win (if I was optimistic I'd say a 3-0 win).

You all seem to have forgotten one crucial factor....

Jon Stead plays for them now - so he will get his traditional goal against reading whatever happens...

1-1 (Stead, Mills)

Jon Stead + our knack of allowing teams to break their winless runs against us = Brizzle win

3-1 Bristol City. They haven't won at home - we are just the team to sort that out for them! In fact I think I am right in saying they hadn't even scored at home before the weekend.....again bring us on!!!!!

We start OK (ish), miss some chances, go 2-0 down in the first half, get one back, then miss a peno and concede in injury time with Feds up for a corner.

Have you often seen Feds up for a corner with us 2-0 down in injury time?

Fail on my part indeed. Perhaps I don't give posts with five exclamation marks in a row the quite attention they obviously deserve.

Presumably you mean 'quite the attention' or conceivably 'the quiet attention' but not 'the quite attention'?

Must try harder.

3-1 City

Lose the first half 2-0 and then get a credible draw in the second half. Followed by the ' we started slowly but put up a great fight in the 2nd half '

Maybe do the half time team talk before the match starts.
