He already has made his strategy very clear, he can hardly just walk away without selling, and he's a man who takes his responsibilities seriously. And yes, I'm sure he does enjoy the higher profile being a chairman allows him.
How many more times! It's purely market forces. He could sell today if he was offering the club at a price and on the terms (name free etc.) that others were prepared to pay.
Did those who have bought all the other clubs that have sold in recent years have a real love for those particular clubs? In most, if not all, cases no. But those clubs were going for the right deal.
I don't see many, if any, good new owners buying clubs that would've seen us as better options than the clubs they bought.
