Ian Royal Snowball Harpers So Solid Crew cant see who said single goal game except in your post thou.
Just for you, long-hand.
Snowball "predicts" a single-goal game based on a very tight defence away
from home, and the team's lack of goals-scored. Snowball adds (inferring
he will probably be hopelessly wrong) that his 1-goal game prediction will
"therefore" mean a best of 5 goals game.
and
To save you the time, as I can't go to Tuesday's home game, my LUCK
tells me that RFC will have a blinder, probably score two first-half
goals, and win the game, "best game of the season" scoring 3 or 4.
That is NOT a prediction based on analysis. It is merely "Sod's Law".
Don't bet on it, I'm going and I haven't seen us win live since Derby last season.
The maths is very complex.
I can't go, making it 89.76% likely we will win 5-1 or 4-2 or 6-2 (all goals bar one in the first half)
My son's best mate is down from Cumbria and my son will probably take him to the game using my ticket.
Whenever we take a guest we are dire and draw 0-0 or lose (82.3% of the time)
Then there's your statistic...
I've used a Cray computer, and the only solution is that we will indeed be winning 4-0 after 43 minutes,
Peterboro will come back to 4-4, then score a fifth in the 92nd minute. Feds will get us back to 5-5 in the 98th
minute when the floodlights will fail with 2 minutes of extra time to play and the match is abandoned.
I go to the replay where Elwood scores the only goal, an own goal in the 9th minute.
