It's not a underlying sense of fair play, it's a sort code.

Certainly am - are you reading what I'm posting?
What part is it that you have trouble with? That within football (just like within any profession) there is a set of unwritten but generally accepted conventions (i.e. code of behaviour) that says what is and what isn't the done thing. Have you noticed that the vast, vast majority of people who have said Kebe brought the foul on himself are ex-professionals?
Or do you have trouble believing that this code of behaviour is not based on "fair play?" Diving and cheating is acceptable to professionals, because they nearly all do it and they know it's part of doing the best for their team. But taking the piss out a fellow professional on the field is not considered acceptable.
Again, that's the way it is, whether you like it or not - or choose to believe it or not. But please tell me which of those premises you have trouble accepting.
BTW, when your only response is to laugh at arguments being put forward it shows that you've run out of arguments yourself.....
