Barry the bird boggler He has been offered a new 2.5 year deal by the club (believe the last was just 2 years).
Heston says Reading will only sell him in January for a totally irrestistible amount of money.
If he doesn't sign the new deal and no-one bids silly money he will go on a free in the summer (I personally think this is what will happen and he'll go back to France).
By the way if Kebe isn't considered goood enough for Mali, who plays wide right for them?

Wycombe RoyalHoop BlahWycombe Royal No he can't. He can only talk to clubs where the transfer would be to a "foreign" club (i.e. outside the English FA). He could also sign a pre-contract with them.
He can't talk to English clubs until near the end of the season (it might even be later than that but I can't remember the exact rules).
(this obviously excludes "tapping up")
So he can talk to other clubs then. Just not English ones, yet.
Nice attempt at a cover up on your lack of knowledge(and yes I know sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, etc.......)

andrew1957 So far I have seen rumours that Kebe is joining Bolton, West Ham, Leicester, Wolves, Soothampton and bizzarly Porstmouth and he is also definitely re-signing for RFC.
Looks like he is going to have a busy second half of the season keeping all those clubs happy!

Drew_3melonhead yes, like any good business we should just wilt and give them whatever they like straight away
Yes I agree we shouldn't just give in, but what we do is say no, no your not having that deal, we can't do it..........oh wait someone else wants you now? Oh ok here you go, at which point the said party says up yours and the boat has sailed.

andrew1957 Kebe close to agreeing personal terms with Leicester according to their fansite. Apparantely West Ham would not meet his wage demands.
Perhaps he was off to Leicester by train today then.
