However, just as the sun always shone out of Shorey and Forster's backsides and the likes of Andy Hughes got slagged regardless, our captain got far less stick for a performance which was far worse than what we saw from Jimmy last night. If he's really on his way, I can think of many players who wouldn't have been at the far post waiting for HRK's cross![]()

RoyalJames101 Thought Kebe started off quite brightly and looked to actually beat his man, but then he slowly started to go back to where he's been recently.
Two good goals for us. Pin point cross from HRK, thought he played very well yesterday. Pearce, Tabb and Jem also looked very good.
Good away support too.
And a massive LOL to Hunt, Antonio and Karacan keeping the ball in the corner right in front of us for a good 4 minutes

Woodcote Royal Jimmy will always be frustrating to watch at times but when he's on top form (which is the only time his slaggers ever give him any slack) he's far too good for this division.
Last week, McAnuff was the chief culprit for us getting knocked out of the cup after losing possession in a way that would have seen the Kebe hater's going mental if he had done the same thing.

I hate losing to those jumped up plastic Paddys
I thought we looked good for the draw until the substitutions. Readings was an attacking change ours was one that had yet to show a positive when deployed
Was it me or was Loach flat footed for their second goal?
Positives Bauben and Deeney had decent games, Nosworthy very good again
Look forward to watch a recorded version on tv but enjoying a pint in walkabout for now.
But I do f'ing hate them Birks from Birkshire
LOL! They had ONE shot on goal the entire match, and we scored an own goal.
One single shot on goal, from a distance, free kick which Feds saved easily and displayed his hollywood skills.
They had nothing. After the match I sat here thinking, they are doomed to go down. Can there be any worse teams in this division? If so, how poor are they?
Is there another team which have mustered only one shot on goal against us?

What about those of us who aren't a fan of either?
Both have sublime quality when its produced, but its produced so little these days that it really hurts the side. Our centre midfield is the least creative in the division, goals or assists practically NEVER go through them. Seeing as our defence isn't going to create chances and neither is the centre midfield...we need the wingers to produce. More often than not im afraid they don't and as a result we lose games. I would much rather sell mcanuff/kebe and lose those one in six game magic moments if we could get some consistent delivery into the box. Some of this can't entirely fall on just the wingers though, they often have two men on them and thats because our entire gameplan is weak and see-through by a lot of people and easily countered. Also, our centre mids are not great at passing so they often don't receive quick early ball on the deck which is what wingers thrive on. If we had a creative midfielder willing to play the ball on the deck down the centre or out to the wing it would give teams a headache and something else to worry about. We don't need two defensive midfielders, both have their quality but its just stupid being so one dimensional.

Z175Carlos Is it me or did Kebe score today? The posts on here are like he was absolutely terrible and deserved to be taken off. he started the pass for our first goal and if you watch the replay had his hand up wanting the ball. So i suppose that shows he hates the club and hates the fans. Hmm maybe not. Maybe he is just bored of his own 'fans' constantly complaining and demanding a Messi style run everytime he has the ball. I hope he tays. But i would not begrudge him leaving. He must wonder what he has to do. 9 assists this season and he is shouted at everytime he makes the slightest mistake.
It's hard to disagree with you. He actually defends with a lot of effort too as does jobi. But jimmy will sometimes stop playing for a bit and both are frustrating to watch, jimmy will sometimes give the ball away a lot and go round his men too many times. Today he had a poor game typified by only taking people on on his own half or not getting past the three men on him. As you say , you always want him on the pitch as he will make goals, however he plays.
Comments such as he is lazy and disinterested are frankly from people who are subconsciously racist. It's always the anelkas, desaillys, kebes who are lazy. Actually they just don't see the point on garnering english applause for pointlessly closing down the keeper.
If kebe was on fire every week and jobi could make better decisions they would be top top players and not playing for Reading. For their flaws, I love them.

While I agree, strongly, with your general sentiment, you are way off track with the Forster comment. There is a wealth of archive material on here to show that the general feeling about him was that he was a waste of space who couldn't score because he was too greedy. It was total rubbish, of course. Fortunately he had sufficient supporters to refuse the nonsense most of the time.
To add to the list, Jim McIntyre. A player who never got the credit for his play. Constantly slagged by a hard core of people with little understanding of his role or what he brought to the team. He could have run the length of the pitch and scored a brilliant solo goal and it would have been credited to someone else for 'distracting the defence'.

They had 8 shots on goal.
I have no idea where you got that stat. Never in a million years did they have 8 shots on target. I would be surprised if they had 8 shots of any kind

Ref did his best to stop us winning it though.
The ref was equally shite for both sides and eas very lenient. Got both Penalty calls right IMO.
Disagree.
Hunt was blatantly pushed in the first half, admittedly would have been a very soft one, but anywhere else on the pitch and its a foul.
Absolute stone-wall pen in the second half with the watford defender quite clearly taking Noel's legs out.
Should have been a second yellow for their guy 15 seconds after his first. Ref bottled it. eith HUn
Gave Watford several soft free kicks around our box.
Now I imagine you'll come back with their penalty shout and HRK's challenge. But tbh their forward was weak, and at least Pearce was actually going for the ball. Hal's 'vicious' challenge was one of those that looked worse in slow mo IMO.
Anyway, bit of a pointless argument now i s'pose, and either way we were deserving winners.
