RUMOUR - Zvjezdan Misimović

by tomrfcurz » 22 Jan 2012 17:16

This article has been posted online, obviously i don't understand what it says or translates as but apparently it says we are looking at a loan to the end of the season deal for this lad. He is an attacking midfielder and has the record number of caps for the Boznia & H team.

I translated it and this is what i got :

Footballer Zvjezdan Misimovic has submitted a request to transfer his current club FC Dinamo Moskva. Bosnian has 64 appearances for his country and the interest is said to be high from the English club Reading FC and former club galatasary

Galatasary didn't play him according to google and got rid if him after a year, sounds a bit like a random rumour. he was good a couple of years ago but his recent history reads like hes a tough two years so there is a high element of risk here..

His constant feeding of Edin Dzeko is the reason behind Bosnia's recent improvement (made playoffs for 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012, lost to Portugal in both).
This is the type of player we need.

No idea if this is the real thing but

A typical no.10, Zvjezdan Misimović has been the leading creative player in Germany for 2 seasons running. Like all old-fashioned playmakers, he lacks pace and has no defensive inclinations whatsoever, but there aren't many better attacking midfielders around in Europe. He boasts an excellent range of passing, set piece prowess, 2-footed ability and a knack of scoring great goals.

08/09 season stats - 6 goals, 23 assists
09/10 season stats - 14 goals, 18 assists

and he seems to have troubles, so does look like a Reading buy

Looking at him on You-Tube he'd be awesome as a Championship player if his head is right and he's fit
