We've no real reason to bring in someone to replace Pearce or Gorkss, so it would seem a bit unlikely to bring in someone from the Prem, who is likely to be on very decent wages, as back up.

Particularly when our two have escaped their suspension worry for the time being, and don't seem to have much injury proneness. (touch wood, fingers crossed etc)

If his wages aren't massive he'd be good experience backup IMO and depending on Morrison and Hector's (Who's loved by Barnet fans) development we may only need him for 6/18 months.

Higginbotham has played left back on numerous occasions, however the majority of his appearances have been as a centre back (his preferred position)

mainly being utilised in his more natural position in the centre of defence
