winchester_royal Oh, so once he's convicted and the word 'allegedly' can be removed then the booing will stop?

Wonderful

He has a point, chelsea and Liverpool fans are a bunch of complete idiots on the whole. Booing the victims? I mean christ. The chelsea fans relentless support of Terry is one of the most cringe worthy things i've seen in the modern day game, I however fully expect most other clubs fans would do the same thing, as football fans in general are very, very stupid people.

But is it support because the Chelsea fan believes John Terry to be innocent? Or is it support regardless?

Will his conviction bring an end to the boos as Chelsea fans realise Terry is the malefactor?

It still alarms me that football seems to differ to any other job, where somebody convicted of racial abuse would be sacked.

BR2 In fairness I think some of the booing may well have been because Ferdinand has turned his nose up at the England captaincy when Chelsea's man (who would love still to be England captain)has been relieved of that honour because of an alleged offence.

Yeah, that'll be it

Not really anymore tbh, doubt ill be going much if at all after this season. I don't deny i've made stupid views regarding it though. There was a time where I thought everyone else was stupid for not following football and how they couldn't see the light, now I am so embarrassed by the state of the sport as a whole I wouldn't dream of promoting it or bringing a neutral into this world. Have a season ticket at Reading still but choose to miss a few games...generally because we play pretty crap football and the games are boring, but also because the sport as a whole is just a circus. Thats my view of course and others may disagree.

So, did Reading fans boo Carl Asaba after John Mackie racially abused him? I certainly don't remember that. Did John Mackie protest his innocence or own up to what he did and immediately apologise?

Not all club's fans are as classless as Chelsea and Liverpool's.

In reply to the fox:-
No,but my son was plus two of my staff.
It's all Kerry Dixon's fault that regrettably my son is a Chelsea fan-despite fantastic breeding things can still go wrong.

Maybe John Mackie really was a racist unlike Suarez and Terry.

It seems unlikely as he recognised that what he did was wrong.

Chelsea's accounts show that $45m (£28m) was spent as a result of firing manager Carlo Ancelotti and hiring Andre Villas-Boas. Football finance analyst Andy Green has calculated that Chelsea have spent $102m (£64m) in the last four years on managerial changes.

Old news I know but still

Funny enough, Brewsters Million was on ITV4 last night, Roman sure could have given Brewster a tip on how to get rid of £30m....

If only they hadn't brought in that new rule about three points for a win.

His post match interview admitting the match preparation may not have been good enough and that the HT talk yesterday may have resulted in confusion amongst the team and that he accepts total responsibility was the souind of a beaten / broken man.

Hours / days rather than weeks left.
