Would be very disappointed in Brian if he took this job. We gave him his big break in management, it would be nice if he at least finished the season with us.

Especially because if he does go there we'll get all those horrible Brummy inbreds wanking themselves silly abut us being their feeder club again.

Except they'll get relegated regardless and we've got an exciting future ahead...if McDermott really is stupid enough to take the Wolves job then we're better off without him. Not sure he will though.

I'm pretty sure McDermott has a little more sense than taking a brief step into the limelight of the Prem into consideration. He's on a 1 year rolling contract i think. Renegotiate a future with Reading if this is on offer. Perhaps it's not.

not quite. looking at his twitter earlier someone told him a reliable source said an approach had been made for mcdermott. hours later fordham goes with a story and this chaps tweet was deleted. there's been others since knocking him but they too have been removed. it's his story, but he doesn't seem to be being very fair with where he got that information.

to go from wanting someone experienced to someone inexperienced, and someone who threw a lot of money away on some very average players, not to mention uneasy on the eye football; so much so the huddersfield fans are mostly happy to see him go - i think wolves would be bonkers to take him on when there's so much at stake. but as i said, i hope they do get him. i love to watch the wolves fans turn on their own.

While it would be a blow to lose McD after the job he has done here, I have to admit that with the new expected influx of cash that we are looking to receive from Anton, I am not sure this will be in line with what he has achieved here, his proven strength is to build a team with "bargain basement" buys of players who need the arm around the shoulder treatment, to get the best out of them. I am not so certain that he would be as effective with "throw some money at it" type of signings, maybe, and I would love to be proven wrong over that.
