Can we not just put out some kind of search party?
If everyone leaves their office now and has a agood scout around, we might be able to find him and put this rumour to bed...
I've just checked, and he's not on London Bridge.

Whore Jackie Pass him most days on the way to the training ground. Almost crashed into his Merc this morning, as instead of turning left at the Sindlesham Mill roundabout as per normal, he went straight over, seemingly heading towards the Midlands.

***UPDATE***

Didn't see Brian's Merc this morning.

Libertine
@sonkimarsson Would be gutted if this happens, might actually cry! But seriously I don't and probably never will trust fordham's reporting in the slightest...he gets 99.9% of his "work" from this very website! But if it is true, Coppell until the end of the season anyone

Nawwww not in for Coppell. His last managerial stint at Bristol City was a disaster. He is a legend and all for us but I am not sure about where his competitive head and heart is now with the way he quit Bristol City about 5 games in. I'd still prefer Gibbs to finish this season off if McD does leave and then start looking for a permanent replacement, if necessary, during the Summer.

Thats assuming Gibbs doesn't also bolt, then we would be in a right mess. Do the current RFC management have the tactical know how that Brian has, the jury is very much out there. Coppell till the end of the season wouldn't be a bad shout as he knows how the club works, most probably even the the systems in our squad, though i'd doubt it would work long term. IF Brian does go, i would be worried that we would be left behind in terms of rebuilding even with money (look at Pearson) and it cant say much about how he has viewed this new investment.

winchester_royal Time for Brian to repay the faith that we've shown in him.

You are aware that this is football aren't you?

Also what is it with "repaying the faith employers have in you" - they pay you for your "faith" every month so the balance book is even

Yes I am, but thanks.

It would be the act of a mercenary, and Brian has always tried to portray himself as something other than that.

And FTR I think any employer would feel rightly peeved if they gave a guy a big promotion and then a couple of years later, when he's just a couple of months away from potentially fulfilling his objectives, he jumps ship.

Call me idealistic, but I have to say I hope McD is a little different to other people in football, it's why we're all so fond of him.

You're idealistic

We all hope though

This will involve leaving the PC right? How will we keep up with the latest speculation?

He's not in Oxford Circus. The rest of the world seems to be, though.

If he goes, then so be it. It what happens when you have a manager who is doing an excellent job.

I guess we'll find out how much TSI want to keep him though.......

He's not at Lamcy Plaza in Dubai.

However, a YamYam 'friend' of mine has just texted me asking: "Is this Brian McDermott any good? Becoming Wolves manager is probably the only way he will get into the Premiership." Ho bleedin' ho.

My reply: "FFS, can't you find your own players and manager rather than raping ours? BTW, Maccy D is shite. :>)"

Curbishley original choice (fell through), NOW ( in order of pref) It's Steve Bruce , Gus 2nd , Brian 3rd .
Most Wolves fans think it will be Bruce , although they like Brian & Gus as options

Yes, "we can now keep our best players and Invest in improving the squad, rather than having to sell"

That must include the Manager.

Shows we are guilty, or I am at least, of under-rating McDermott to the point that I have to admit I've not once considered he might choose to leave the club at some point.

Ray Wilkins up for it.....

That would be a seriously good move for the Wooluffs, alternatively it would be a seriously good move for us if McD went there

Yeah, if we're going to have a shouty manager, surely it's got to be Mad Dog Allen coming back?
