Expecting some positive news from #readingfc later this afternoon regarding McDermott's position at the Mad Stad #wolves

I got the same message Fordham did, things obviously not quite as straight forward as they seemed but I am sticking with it, a new contract signing will be announced and I will LOL at quite a few of you

LoyalRoyalFan I just can't see the logic behind McDermott going to Wolves.
Granted Wolves are a bigger club than ourselves, but he is leaving behind a legacy he could easily finish. We are 3rd in the table at the moment and he could lead us to the Premier League. He could follow in the footsteps of Steve Coppell and easily make himself a Reading legend.
Does he want to be remembered for a play-off final defeat? Or does he want to be remembered for being the 2nd manager to take Reading into the top-flight? He has worked with this club for 10 years and the club is in a very good position at the moment, why would he walk away?
The players obviously respect him and he clearly believes in the squad.

If someone was offering to double your wages for at least 3 years, you're saying you wouldn't consider going?

MmmMonsterMunch Sorry how do you know this exactly? You honestly think they'd give a manager with no PL experience a 3 yr deal? Yeah right!
