Apologies to Prisoner, Big Mike and the rest. Unlike Silver fox I didn't spot there were 20+ new pages here when I skimmed back a couple of pages looking for the links. I picked up a handfuls of stories from Google Alerts where the pages appeared to be dated 22nd and didn't spot the article datelines - sorry.

Telegraph says Wolves want Brian & Hammond

Bookies still have Brian as favourite

Some are saying Fordham made the whole thing up

Still no official word from the club whatsoever

And I drank a strong coffee, with 2 shots of espresso, after taking a post dinner power nap...and now I can't fall asleep.

But at least it is finally today here.

Gonna try to get some sleep again. No new news I see, just more rumors...but at least they are more positive. That's a start...

pretty uneventful in the end of it, club shows interest, brian does what any astute human being does and shows an indication of wanting to talk to them thus forcing the hand of RFC to front up a new, long term and secure contract deal.

Did say it would be 3.5 years, if he does not do the biz for us not exactly a huge pay off required from a russian billionaire!

In summary:

SJM raised with his pocket 2s, AZ called with QJ suited, Jez folded 53 off suit, Morgan raised again with AK suited and Brian's just gone all in with pocket aces.

So Brian holds all the cards, I'm backing AZ to hit a dicey flush, Morgan is packing a weaker punch than he thinks, but I wouldn't bet against SJM hitting spawny trips.

As has already been stated, until TSI officially take over the club and everything is signed and sealed, AZ can say what he bloody likes but it doesn't mean it's going to happen. It's not up to AZ to allow McD to speak to anyone and it's not up to AZ to negotiate his contract - UNLESS everyone at the club and the legal team etc all know that it's just a formality for the deal to be signed off at the end of March. And that's not the vibe Focher has alluded to. McD is in a difficult situation - I'm sure he'd like to stay and finish the job - but if the deal doesn't go through, he's back to selling off everyone and having no money to strengthen - esp if we don't go up. £600 on some RFC memorabilia is nothing to AZ but gets his face out there whatever happens with the deal.
