This is happening according to an ITFC fan at work and has been reported in local press - on loan initially with view to perm signing in summer.

Delay has been due to McD hassle.

He's seen as the ball playing midfielder to create more for the wingers/forwards to up our scoring.

well all joking aside, he's the sort of player mcdermott likes. put an arm around him, make him feel wanted, and get the best out of him again. as long as we're not talking stupid wages then i'm for it. having said that, mcdermott must now see cwyka as a winger?

Z175 Brian has spent the evening in IPSWICH persuading Jimmy Bullard he is wanted by Reading. Reading will cover his 40k wages as they look for automatic promotion.

he's on 18k a week at ipswich.

If, and it's a big if, Brian could get him playing to a level near his best then he would obviously be a huge asset.

Don't think the loan will happen anyway, but just saying.

Ipswich fans seem confident we're in for him.

They do seem to think we'er interested. I don't expect anything will happen before Boro though as one of the reports indicated.

The Ipswich lad at work said that over there it was mentioned as being a done deal before the Cardiff game
Said that when hes played hes been as lazy as anything due to the rest of team looking lacklustre and uninterested,so hoping our top 6 positioning will get him up and running again and interested

Jewell Dismisses Reading Bullard Link

Town boss Paul Jewell says he knows nothing about national newspaper reports earlier this week linking Reading with a loan move for Blues midfielder Jimmy Bullard.

Jewell said: “No, I’ve heard nothing from Reading. Anyway, Brian's not as stupid as me.”

Suspended by Ipswich for breach if club discipline - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17244711. Not the first time this has happened either.

Bullard can f*ck right off. Apart from at Peterborough he's spent his entire career extracting the maximum amount of money for the minimum amount of effort, commitment and availability. Yes, he's a cheeky chappy. But he can f*ck off.

Decent enough player but a money grabbing git and, far from being a cheeky chappie, I always felt that a village somewhere was missing it's idiot.

A player I never want to see playing for Reading.

Absolute nonsense...both of you.

Towards the end of his career at fulham is where he became a money grabbing arrogant twat but before then he was well liked by his clubs and general football fans around the country. He really was a player who had it all and pissed it away.

And it was pretty much down to him that Fulham stayed up and we went down from the Prem.
