It's reassuring to know that John Madejski holds your opinion in such good stead.

Dare to Dr£am The gist of it is he wont help a club that doesn't run itself properly.
The last time they came out of admin they went and brought in Premier League players (Kitson and Lawrence to name but two), and then added the likes of Tal Ben Haim who is on £38k a week.
Good on the old man!

Just a point on the high wages.
IIRC Ben Haim was a so-called "free transfer" to a Premier League club.
If say he had been worth £2 million and Pompey had paid that up front plus say £20k per week in wages nobody would be saying much now because over 2 years they would have shelled out £4 million in transfer fee plus wages compared to about £4 million just in wages which is what £38k per week costs over 2 years.
As they clearly couldn't afford either way of making payment it meant that they would be skint now rather than 2 years ago!!
As for a swap with Tabb I quite liked that young winger they had-a biggish lad who might have been Turkish or Egyptian but I don't know what happened to him.

Dare to Dr£am I've been told that Portsmouth enquired about the loan signings of both Manset and Tabb. SJM in no uncertain terms told them to bog off, and it seems other clubs are taking the same stance towards them. Tabb remains in BM's plans, Manset is off to China on loan as we know.
Portsmouth have also been told it's one out and one in if they want players.
