Not sure he will find the time to read a book of that length.

melonhead based on?

He had no time for his team mates, he was always a bit of an outsider who didn't get on with the other players that closely. He was arrogant and outspoken. Whilst SHunt was an unspeakable arse, Kits shouldn't have taken the piss about Church starting ahead of him in the POs. And then there's the drink drive incident with the alleged "don't you know who I am".

Disagree on most of that. Different yes, but unliked by team mates? Certainly not. And that's a fact with foundation.

Dave did let himself down with the drink drive offence, which is ironic because he had claimed in previous interviews not to drink any alcohol when the season was in force. Topic came up after MOTM awards where he also revealed that he was a serious wine collector.

I actually felt the last loan would have gone much better than it did, and think the odds are stacked against there being a more successful return if we made another move now. However, if Brian did take that option, I would back him and would love to see it work out for all parties.

Whatever happens he should be remembered as a Reading legend, and IMHO is a genuinely good bloke too.

I didn't say he was disliked by his team mates, I said he didn't get on with them that closely. Which he pretty much said himself in interviews.

My favourite ever player (Hughesy aside). Would welcome him with open arms but don't think he'd get on the pitch these days.

This is not happening now. They were looking at Kitson and Afobe but McDermott decided that the youngster was the better option.

That must have been the easiest decision of his career.

He was in Primark in Reading today, dressed very smartly in a suit, carrying an A3 portfolio / case with an older guy who I assume was his agent, also wearing a suit. Kison walked one pace behind this guy, who paid for everything at the till as Dave quietly looked on stood behind him.

The unknown guy held a t shirt up to Kits of some bird in a bikini sucking a lolly pop and said "this one's a bit cheeky, but fun".

It was all a bit odd. Nothing to do with this rumour, but I wanted to share!

A Dave Kitson clothing line perhaps??
