Ian Royal Saw that goal and Crouch's is better. From my memory Quinn was more central and therefore closer to the goal. A bit of juggling and then a turn and hook in over his shoulder. Great goal, but can't compete with Crouch.

Quinn had his back to goal, m8. Makes it that little bit harder to execute, no?

Quinn's goal against Wolves was similar to the over-the-shoulder goal he scored against Bristol Rovers in 94.

Quinns was near the touchline. But i havent seen it for a long time. Please someone find some footage!

Funny thing memory isn't it. I remember him being just outside and to the North of the D at the Tilehurst End.

Correct. And I had to eat humble pie after complaining about Quinn for being shit up to that point.
I've always said what a good player he was........cough, cough.

memory is a funny thing as I distinctly recall Quinn being in the area and at a sharper angle than Crouch (although the goal wasn't nearly as good imho)

Someone needs to get the footage for this (i've got it on vhs at home but no vhs player!)

Ark Royal I think Ladders' is the closest that I have seen. Robin's was more central, which you can see from the EP photo. Fantastic strike by Crouch.
Speaking of which....

On an unrelated note, I had almost forgotten how much I loved Nicky Forster until I saw this just now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ssxKVAUQQI

Was there that night and it will always be the best goal ever scored as far as I'm concerned.Trevors goal v Bognor where he scored from way out was another one of the greats
