It was injuries that ultimately finished Vicente at Valencia, he was out of action for around 2 years and in that time Silva and Mata came in. By the time he got somewhat fit he broke down again then when it seemed he was clear of his injuries he was out of contract and Valencia really didn't want to commit to a player who might not be fully fit again.
if it wasn't for the injuries he would be no where near Brighton and Hove Albion

I'm sure that Reading know all about the players in this division and their likely availability should they want to make a move for any in the summer.
