Jano Surprised at the number of people saying Bertrand is a definite no. There will obviously be massive changes at Chelsea over the summer, chances are that will include a new manager and a lot of money being spent. If Ashley Cole stays, I would imagine Bertrand will be looking to move on for first team football, and he fits the bill nicely, knows the club, the players and the manager.
Zaha I'm unsure about. He was quite clearly a tricky player but that is a lot of money for someone untested in the Prem. Reminded me a bit of Taraabt and he hasn't exactly set the world alight at QPR this season, and at least to me, he seemed to be getting very frustrated against us when things weren't coming off for him in the second half. I guess it's always a gamble but for me, for this sort of money, I'd be looking for more experience.

£6m seems the going rate for an young up and coming Championship player these days. AZ said he wants us to bring young talent to the club, and if that's true he will have to pay for it.

Dare to Dr£am Zaha isn't selfish. He's been behind most of Palace's attacks this season, scoring a few himself and providing chances as well. When you've got good feet like him you WANT him to run at people and get into the box. Dare stick your foot in and he can switch feet and down he goes. Yes please!!

That's all well and good but the Prem is a big step up from the Championship. Do you really want a player who gets frustrated easily out on the pitch when your up against teams who will know exactly how to wind him up, and I can't see his tricks working too well against a top quality defence like they may have done in the Championship. There were quite a few times when the pass or cross to Murray was a far better option than his weird stepovers, could be that the place for him to learn that is with us in the Prem, but I still think that's a big gamble to take.

I want a player his age, with his talent, who can be developed and nurtured by one of the best coaches out there at the moment. So yes please!

Jano Perhaps he didn't have the best of games against us, only thing I saw was yet another over hyped over expensive young British talent.
IMHO, far better off spending that money elsewhere.

I thought that exact same thing about Ashley Young when he played against us for Watford.
Since then I have been less hasty to cast harsh judgements on youngsters.

winchester_royal He's no more selfish than Kebe or McAnuff. We need our wingers to be selfish and try and go past their man, it's what our system is based on.

Super Kevin Bremner! Clyne would be a top TOP signing
