TBM "Important" looking people i spoke to on Saturday (did i mention i was in hospitality) that work at the club reckon the deal is sound and all the rumours about it falling through are just paper/radio talk. The issue is its only Anton and there are no other investors, so the FL/PL are making sure he can put the money where his mouth is.

Or something along those lines

So Samuelson was lying when he said there were others involved that didn't want to be named at this stage... It's obvious Boris is also involved. Because it all fell through at Everton, that is why he wanted his name left out of this.

blindedbythelights So RL is taking someone to court coz they suggested Dirk tells her what to post :|

Even more absurd than that is that she's taking Jay to court. What sort of payout can you be expecting :?: :|

I'm not taking anyone to court you fukktard. I've never said I was. I also know who Muguire was - note he's not posting any more? And it wasn't Jay. At all.

Oooh, who was it?

I wouldn't be surprised if the deal is all but signed, but SJM wants to officially announce it to a packed Mad Stad on Sunday after the trophy is presented.

Yes, basically its a family thing but due to "politics" Boris doesn't want to be named.....

And reading what Madejski has been saying recently, it sounds that way too

Isn't it a Premier League "Right and Proper" inquiry now rather than a Football league one? Let's face it, if every PL club owner had to face the most stringent tests regarding money laundering and tax evasion, there would be no Premier League owners...show me a billionaire and I will show you a crook. It's strange that because it is a Russian takeover it seems more sinister to everyone....if it was Vodafone, Peter Green or Amazon taking over no-one would bat an eyelid at the outrageous tax dodging going on there....in fact it was on the radio today that a tax dodge that involved in investing in the film industry had one Alex Ferguson as a client..............it was just about legal, but still as bent as a banana.

Yes, and Friday's Legacy who has been the only one on here to be right on any of this and beat the papers a couple of times, said that the Premier League requested all the papers the Football League had put together on TSI and are now doing their own final checks. Essentially they have carried on from where the FL left off, and that is why the club are confident we are nearing the end now.

It'll be done when it's done, and that wont be long now.

If it is just Boris and Anton then please allow me to start the rumour that all this talk of doing things the "Reading way" are complete tosh an the minute the deal is ratified, Boris and Anton are going to go on a Russian style spending spree, where Anton puts all his Fifa 12 skills into action and launders lovely cash, buying McDermott millions upon millions of pounds worth of players he has never heard of.

Given his long-standing antipathy to Svlad, and whatever it is he does in football, I am guessing Muguire is non other than TMD.

I would also guess, that Svlad is not posting his views on the takeover because whatever his personal view, opinion, or best guess, he is known to be involved in the ?FA/FSF or whatever...anything he says publically now could be interpreted as based on "insider" knowledge...and that gets messy.
Given his long-standing commitment to the club, I am sure he will be supporting us as ever next season- and as delighted as anyone if everything goes the way Sir John hopes.

Ahh. at last a firm and honest prediction that can be quoted at a later date (say, 1st September) and lauded for it's accuracy / ridiculed for its inaccuracy.

I think whoever said expect news Sunday, is probably right... I wouldn't expect SJM to miss up an opportunity to make a formal announcement in front of a crowd if he has a say in it.

Tokyo Sex Whale With Anton investing money and talking about investment off the pitch, is the future at Hogwood going to be shortlived for a bigger site?

How much bigger do you want. It is 28 acres of expensively prepared football pitches and some buildings. My reading of the comment is that they are possibly going to replace the temporary buildings with some permanent ones.

The site itself is fine. We still use portacabins, so they will be replaced with a permanent structure and of an increased size. The facilities we have which are already of a very hight standard will also be upgraded.

Well that isn't a simple damning of a whole nation then... or maybe it is.

Says more about your narrow mindedness than it does about Russians.
