Without doubt, the most pointless thread on here. People are different - unless you live in North Korea. Everyone who supports the club does so in their own way - whether it's by being a pre-pubescent, pizza faced shriek merchant, a middle-class family of 4 or the grumpy old git who smells of wee and grumbles at any and everything. No-one has the right to claim that, because they sing like their balls are yet to drop, they are a better fan than anyone else. Seems like Y26 is turning into some god-forsaken Ultra Zone.

The people that would wind me up at games at the Mad Stad were the ones who sat like rejects from Madame Tussaud's. No sign of life whatsoever. But that is their choice - and while we are in a democracy, that freedom of choice will be exercised. No one is ever going to tell me how to support a football club.

Well said Terminal Boredom. I once had a season ticket in Y26, many years ago, and swapped it on the first opportunity as I was fed up not being able to watch the football as those around were more intent of standing up and gesturing at the opposition fans than watching the game. I now sit in the Upper West. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good sing-song like the rest, and do join in, but ffs we are here to support a football club and watch football.

And before I get accused of being a 'newby'; HNA is just part of my personal "supporters' package" that I use when I feel like it.... I have had 4 usernames over many years but they have long-since 'time-expired' as I did not post enough. Pointless, and embarrassing, as this thread is, echoing many of the later posts on it, it does just go to show how passionate people are about their support... I mean, I was even moved to post on this thread...

Apparently so... some may remember me as 'Royalphil', my last incarnation, but when I tried to use that Username after a couple of years... yeah, I know... I was locked-out and asked to re-register (and not to use my old name).

I've had a sleeper account that I've logged in on once in 4 years. Still sitting there happily...

Usually an account is locked if someone has:
A) attempted to log in too many times
B) someone else has
C) the email account has changed

oldebiscuit ben, are you one of the 'inflatables YES', 'jesters hats oxf*rd No', or 'face paint oxf*rd No' merchants that have all contributed to showing the world what a bunch of twats English football fans have become? I bet you just love that 'pre-match huddle Neutral' and the PA command to shout 'URZ I shout it'.

For once, I totally agree with you.

These 'daytrippers' are very much needed for this club to move forwards. Is everyone going to moan if all goes well and we extend the stadium? Or will Y26 etc be forever be grumbling that some randoms have gatecrashed their party.

I agree that we need 'daytrippers' to fill the stadium, but it would be nice if they didn't all disappear at the first sign of defeat.

What also annoys me is that someone's uncle at work has bought a season ticket just for the 'big 4' games.

He's giving his ticket to other people for the rest of the season :|

Another generalisation. Your no better. I'm in that area and I don't care about these extra people. The people that are around me are the usuals that I see every week and that's all I care about.

It is not a generalisation. I did add an 'etc' to the end. It is just where the majority of the more vocal 'hardcore' fans sit

I did tell you to "Fack off" twice previously, Yet you didn't mention it as abuse then. Maybe you were "un-educated and had 'not much up top" to notice it.

Please, please, please go away you silly little boy. You are incredibly boring and irritating, (that is not abuse, just an observation) Obviously intelligence is not your strong point, and as you psted at 21.51, you are obviously not old enough to go for a pint, and your ideals lack experience of life, and quit clearly, intelligence.
Bye , Bye, Schoolboy.

oldebiscuit you are obviously not old enough to go for a pint

I'm on 24 hour callout this evening so I can not be in the Pub as I need to be able to drive, Thanks.
oldebiscuit Bye , Bye, Schoolboy.

For a supposed old duffer, comments like this (and reading your previous shite) just confirm that you are nothing but a WUM.
Tips hat, I took the bait.

Course they will always moan

They don't want daytrippers filling the stadium coz then they can't moan that we have such small crowds

And in 5 years time there will be a new generation of Y26ers (for want of a better phrase) who will have exaclty the same moans about our support and that they invented singing and standing at football and how shit it is that nobody else does it

I don't like jester hats or facepainting - fine with inflatables on the last day - but to me, if there's anything showing the world what a bunch of twats English football fans have become, it's the "football fan fundamentalists" who quote from the holy book of football fandom about what true fans wear, and how they behave, and death to all heretical non-believers.
