Speculation - Pat Rice

by Super Kevin Bremner! » 10 May 2012 11:00

I've seen that the Arse are parting company with Pat Rice after an astonishing 44 years. The guy's Arsensl through and through so I'd imagine he's honna kick back and just watch them as a supporter now, but football people often never want to retire.

The wealth of experience he has, coupled with a probable friendship with either or both of Hammond and MacD, I reckon he would be an amazing coup to bring in as a coach/mentor of some sort.

Not a very exciting gossip but I would love to bring him in.

I suspect he will stay at Arsenal in some form, just not as assistant manager

His knowledge has become a bit grainy over the years.

I imagine he might scout for Arsenal - getting paid to watch matches.

Perhaps, McDermott can have a word - Any talent spotted not good enough for Arsenal may well be good enough for us.
