Jackson Corner
Jackson Corner Villa were pathetic. Next week Utd will draw with Everton. City will trash Wolves Tevez will score the winner in the derby. City clinch the title on the last day on goal difference as in 68. Bale and Van Persie come in the summer champions league to follow.

As I predicted just call me mystic JC. The title is going to City. If Fergie reckons Johnny Evans is the best centre half in the prem he needs to get to specsavers.

Tevez let me down. But as I predicted weeks ago Utd would collapse. You won't win anything with old has beens. Shows how far Utd have fallen when they have to rely on Giggs and Scholes. Big thanks to the Glazers for making this possible. City win the the league, Liverpool win two major trophies and Utd get oxf*rd all............ :D :D :D

There are unconfirmed rumours this morning that Darren Fletcher is having to hang up his boots.

Hoop Blah 6 years ago Fergie spent £18m on Carrick. The year after he spent £17m on Hargreaves and £27m on Anderson but hasn't bought a central midfielder since. It's almost if he's got a mental block over the position, like Wengers had on goalkeepers and centre backs.

Until they fix the middle of the park I can't see them being the force they should be.

That surprised me too. I didn't realise they'd spent so much on Hargreaves either, for some reason I thought they'd got him quite cheap because of his contract/injuries.

I don't get how Fergie thought he could build a side around a non-existant central midfield. Over the last couple of years Carrick had slipped further out of favour so he left himself with Giggs, Jones, Fletcher and Andersen, with Cleverly coming into the mix as well I guess. It's no wonder they had to bring Scholes out of retirement.

Fergie bottled it last night. 4-5-1 playing for a draw. 0 shots on target.

Dress it up however you want Utd fans, he went there for a draw and fcked it. No complaints.

Still after all this you can imagine City dropping points at Newcastle now!!

What a mistake to play Nani and Park over Anderson and Young. United had absolutely zero penetration and Rooney was almost completely anonymous.

Thats a damn shame if true.. Hes possibly the only model pro that is in the premiership. Hes always in the headlines for the right reasons.

RobRoyal Wow TMD, you really did go too early with the counter-troll on this one, eh?

"Blue Moon
TMD gloated too soon
He tried to give it the big'un
Then lost to City and Wigan"

Arguably the biggest choke in the history of the Premiership but they still have a chance as I don't see City as any more than 50/50 to beat Newcastle. If City hadn't suffered the self inflicted injuries of Tevez and Balotelli, they'd have been 10 points clear by now.

Agreed, in fact bizarrely Rooney kept passing it out for a throw. Although he was crap I think he will be mighty pissed off at playing on his own up front.

Ferguson has done this before. Obviously his achievements have been extraordinary but there have been several big-game occasions when his selections have been extremely questionable.

In the biggest games you can just about get away with one of Giggs and Scholes but to play both of them and an unfit Park whilst leaving Vaalencia (arguably their most potent and consistent attacking threat over the last 2 months) on the bench was just  Especially as it left Jones to deliver the crosses from the right - he's a bloody defender for Gawd's sake. Very poor tactics from the (supposed) master tactician.

Absolutely nothing in those tweets that encourages the belief that few, if any, Man United fans come from manchester........

I think that any neutral would say that United have acheived far more than City this season given the relative strengths of the two squads, but none of us could be prepared for the depth of the tactical self-murking Fergie imposed on himself. Jones at right back was fairly poor, but Nani over Valencia and Park playing? Do me a favour.

Could and should have been 2 or 3. I still fancy City to bottle it at Newcastle and United to win the league tbh and then Mancini should be sacked on the spot, given the unlimited resources he would have wasted!

TheMaraudingDog
Schards#2 Man Utd 1-6 Man City

Basle 2-1 Man Utd

Man Utd 2-3 Blackburn

Three of the most desperate results in Ferguson's entire reign, all within a month or so of each other.

Worrying times I would imagine.

Maybe TMD should have taken those blinkers off before celebrating too soon.

Those three results were absolutely appalling and demonstrated that this was not a great, or even partiularly good side. They should and would have lost league by 10-15 points had City not had their own self inflicted traumas, I doubt that will happen again next year. The weaknesses in this side showed through at just the point in the season that United's strengths normally do. I don't doubt that Fergie was worried then and is worried now. He can't even pull his usual transfer rabbit out the hat by buying the player non united player in the division regardless of cost anymore.

Probably shows how little interest I have taken in the Premiership since 2008 but thats a shocker. He paid 9 million for a player he had never even seen playing on a video?!? That's madness.

Were there tears in the Stretford End? :D
(Please tell me there were).

I do, however, feel sorry for the people who'll will lose their jobs because of this... Like the bloke that USED to polish the silverware at Manure. If he can't bring himsele to move across town (Due to old loyalties) maybe he can move to Reading where he'll be surrounded by like-minded individuals (Unless they all turn "plastic" and start following RFC next season).
