Expecting us to have a new transfer record in the next seven days.

Number of players been bringing up Longs name unprompted this last week but everything is falling into place for a sigurdsson deal and can't see anything being so imminent if it was a deal for a player training for the Euros. Club still got things in the fire that could pick up in the next few days as well regardless of what happens today (Rhodes, Mariappa).

Fridays Legacy has 90% of this team board wrapped around his little finger

Fair play to him, at least he gets a few lolz

Which is remarkable, considering a while back he admitted he never heard about anything before it was in the public domain anyway....

Brendan going to Liverpool from Swansea may have thrown a spanner in the works for Swansea. If that means that Gylfi does not sign for Swansea then I am delighted.. He is so much better than that mob

Except when he does well for Liverpool, the idiot scousers will act as if they discovered him. Also the likes of Lawro will only now accept just how good he is.

Agreed - one does prefer the 'Daily Frdays Legacy' or the 'Daily Icelandic Stokie', or, more recently the 'Daily Bigmike', but they appear decidedly incognito this morning...well apart from a dodgy weather report

Nice to see Lawro continue his policy of rubbishing any team/ individual who isn't already an established big name with his response to Rodgers' appointment. The main reason I'd like to see us stay up this year is so that we can prove him wrong again.

That's Lawrenson to a tee - "I don't know much about him, so he can't be any good".
