RUMOUR - Jason Roberts In Contract Talks

The Sun are this morning reporting and it is something i have been hearing for a while that Jason Roberts is in talks for a new contract. His current deal expires in the Summer of 2013 and Reading are looking to tie him in until the summer of 2014.

I had heard the club were going to wait until January, one year into his deal, to evaluate if we will be in the Prem next season and if we are then if Roberts has adapted ok to the step up again. Roberts has said he would be willing to finish his career at Reading and it seems if he does indeed extend his contract by a year then that would probably be the case.

spot on, i reckon he'd be perfect as a coch of some description and im sure one day he would make a good coach or maybe even a manager
