Maybe what we are missing a first team player that is a left footed winger? I know we have HRK but I think he is more effective coming on as a substitute for us than he is when he starts.

Out of favour at Spurs and if I recall he was very good when he did get a run of games for Mexico at the World Cup. Imagine his asking price wouldn't be too much either at the minute but on the other hand new Spurs manager may have him in his future plans whoever that may be.

Would provide us with a considerable amount of pace and flair going forward and Mcdermott would certainly get the best out of him if anyone could we have seen this with Roberts too when he was sitting on the fringes of Blackburn's first team before he came to us.

I thought about this a few weeks back when he was linked with Swansea before Brenda left, from what I could gather most Spurs fans thought he was a decent propspect but just frozen out by Redknapp for whatever reason, still plays regularly for the Mexican national team and plays well.

Looking very quick and assertive on the ball today v Senegal. He's sharp and match fit and with VDV and SIG at spurs, isn't gonna get much of a look in. Along with the fact I dont think Tabb will cut it in the prem I would love this to happen.

Dos Santos isn't a winger. He might be able to play wide, but if he does he won't play like a winger.

Agree that Dos Santos isn't really a winger, more of an attacking mid - when he's played for Mexico this tournament he's been playing in behind, even pushing Fabian (who plays that role) to the wing.

Very talented and I'd love to see him play for us, but don't see where he would fit in.
