another midfield signing?

i believe that we need another signing for the midfield. particularly a attacking/creative midfielder? what do you guys think and any options on who we should sign?

sure, but not neccessarily at prem level! I personally don't think Connolly can cut it, and at the moment it seems that McD and Nicky H dont think so either!

Plenty of midfielders. Ledge, Guthrie, Jem, Tabb, + McAnuff, youth & Bryn as backup all going for 2 or 3 spots. Not going to be much more space then that in the 25 man squad.

I'd prefer another one, Bryn probably won't be in the 25 and McAnuff will only play cm when we're chasing a game. That leaves us with 4 midfielders, one of which is coming back from a serious injury and there's always a possibility he won't return the same player. Add in the fact we'll probably end up having 5 in midfield for a lot of the season and we don't have many options.

I understand your point, and i'm sort of on the fence. I'd love to see another midfielder, and if we're going to play with 5 across the middle then of course it's a must. If we're going to play 2 up top then i'd worry about the space in the squad. If we're only regularly playing one, then we have too many strikers and could have a problem with Hunt, Chruch and Alfie not getting games/in the 25.

which would mean we wouldnt have to go out and buy another 20 players
