Well no, he said it was ok for Terry to call Ferdinand a FBC. The court says he didn't.

Never said he was right to say anything, said that court was the wrong place for it to be dealt with.
I do sincerely apologise if that was the impression you took

Found not guilty of rascism but instead found guilty of being a complete bell-end.

What a waste of time and effort for all concerend. As someone said earlier in the thread once again only the lawyers won.

Lets hope the FA do the right thing and reinstate Terry as England captain, without any say so from Woy.

Presumably the FA will now complete their own investigation into Terry's conduct?

I think they'll just use the court case and decide not to take any action - quite right, too.

'greed, he's been found not guilty in a court of law so why would the FA find any differently? Plus he's lost the captaincy and won't ever be again, he'll just be another England player (if he has the sense to avoid any more controversies).

Ian Royal
FFS. why on earth would the CPS not want to prosecute in a case where they are not confident of a conviction, compared to a case where they are confident of conviction. Oh, forget minor crimes being taken to Court, murders and rapes are much more important so lets only do them.

Your CPS boys took one hell of a beating, are you watching Ian Royal, are you watching........ 1-0 to the utter fuktards maybe.

Because they have a different burden of proof and have always said they will investigate this themselves but couldn't until the court case was over

NB - I fully except the FA to agree with you and wash their hands of the whole affair

This. And from the video I saw it does kind of look like Terry said "Oi Anton. Do you think I called you a oxf*rd black oxf*rd? oxf*rd knobhead"
(and fwiw I can't stand Terry)

How much do you think JT paid Ashley to walk in front of the camera at the crucial moment?

The single best thing about this is that Liverpool fans will froth themselves into their usual apoplexy of victim hood.
